A number of email addresses have been affected by an ‘IP rate-limiting’ issue.
You may receive a bounceback message saying that your message could not be delivered, due to IP rate limiting.
These bounceback messages are received because currently, the IP address of our Outgoing Email Relay provider has been rate-limited (this means that only a small amount of messages can be sent from this IP), and our hosting provider is working hard to resolve this.
Our advice to work around this is, where possible, to send from an alternative email address if one exists.
We apologise for this, and remain extremely concerned at this issue and the time taken for it to be resolved, as well its potential to re-occur. To mitigate such instances again, we will be offering an alternative enterprise-level email service within a matter of days.
